Wallpaper: Oriental

I just came across this breathtaking oriental building - Adalaj Ni Vav or Adalaj Wav Step Well. I like it's lovely details and columns.

This step well is located near Ahmedabad, India. It is a touristic site, though I've never heard of it before. It was built during the reign of Queen Rudabai, a muslim ruler. The four-level well is dug directly into the water table, exposing fresh water that rose and fell according the seasons and the amount of rainfall. Now it's mostly dry.
