1)) blogger.com
Of course, blogs. I follow mostly fashion blogs (that's how I got involved in that 'inspirational' part of the internet, when I was in high scholl, copying outfits), but I also like blogs that combine photography and lifestyle, as well as those that are artistically/visually interesting.
2)) tumblr.com
Tumblr is an addiction. You can scroll down infinitly, looking at those lovely (or sometimes epic) pictures and words (oooh gif-s <3)... For me number one place to do nothing and still feel productive coz "you're soaking inspiration". And if you didn't know, there are some real portals that use Tumblr as their platform, with real articals or reviews, so it's not only about reblogging cool pictures.
3)) lookbook.nu
I just love this page!! This is how I discover new blogs. I notice a lovely outfit, than go through the other outfits of the person. If I like it, I check out the blog. If I like what I see, I follow. It's pretty simple.
4)) youtube.com
I use it only for music. I watch music videos, live performances and interviews. I also always link songs that I post on other sites like social networks and blogs to this channel. You people can then find other work by this artist if you like the song. And that's the best thing about this site. You can so easily discover new music. I usually like two or three songs by the same artist (or just one, but very very much) and then go on YouTube to hear the rest.
5)) vimeo.com
On this video channel I search new artists. I usually go through 'Staff Picks' and click on what appeals me with it's title or still. Than I go on web page of the artist to see the rest. Lately I found a lot of timelapse photographers. I struggle to find the most unique ones coz I can't add every single one of them in 'Favourites' on my browser. There are so many of them!
6)) polyvore.com
Polyvore is like a fairyland for fashion lovers (and future stylists ;-) ). I'm not signed up, but I save my crations with 'PrintScreen' :-P There's tons of clothes and accessorize that you can put together to crate perfect looks. And you can daydream what would you wear if you had a lot of money :-)
7)) fashionising.com
I follow 'Photo Shoots' section. They regularly post scans of editorials from well-known fashion magazines. And it's made so cool, with data about photographer, models, stylist, make-up artist etc.
8)) google streetview
Hahaa yeah. I'm not that often on this page, only when I have a lot of free time, but it's perfect. Pick a city you want to explore, pick a street and start your seightseeing. I could spend hours like that.
As a matter of fact, I could spend hours on ALL of these pages. I use social networks where I follow other portals about music, events, science, fashion, art, but these are all Croatian.
I wanted to post a pic, but I'm out of ideas and I should start studying. Maybe one from Tumblr? You can find it on my tumblr:
