Gallery: Illustrations For Every Mood

Yelena Bryskenkova is a lovely artist who illustrates mainly people in different everyday situations. There's an illustration for every mood you can think of. And if you have a fav mood, you can pick one and hang it on the wall!

You can buy her art on her Etsy page: www.etsy.com/shop/ybryksenkova?ref=unav_listing-r

Oh, and here's 'Marta':

I hope this means Marta is mysterious or a superhero, not a burglar X-D

Runway: Bad Girl Gone Good

Pixie Geldof is one of my fav celebrity fashion-lovers. She's a 25-year-old model and singer. And she's of course Chung's bff. (Look at them two always together! Too much to handle!)

Before her style was very much grunge and rock'n'rol.

Look at these glam-rock outfits:

Then she calmed down and now she wears interesting playful girly pieces.

Fav pieces: Viviene Westwood bag, silver platforms, cross necklace, leo bucket bag.

Gallery: Glowing Messages

Remember my obsession with neon lights? Tim Etchells is my man. His neon installations are both intelligent and cool-looking. Would love to see his art installed somewhere in my city.

These signs are not random. For instance, 'All We Have':
"Echoing Beckett, Etchells’ All We Have presents two almost-identical phrases, the difference between them formed through the addition or subtraction of a single letter ‘L’, which marks the difference between ‘words’ and ‘worlds’. The simple, punning shift in the text from one line to the next creates a loop of apparent contradiction, inviting the viewer to reflect on the question of what it is that makes up and comprises our lives; the concrete material of a world or the ephemeral material of language and ideas."
