My first treat is mom's teen notebook. She found it in my grandmother's flat. It contains clippings about girl problems, fashion and decor. Also, I found pressed flowers and notes from her friends between the pages. So cute.

Love those hairstyles and green-eyed ladies.
The second treat is 'Decades Of Fashion'. It's a book by 'Getty Images' about history of 20th century fashion. I found it on a book fair last week (and paid 70% less, though it wasn't that expensive anyway). It has 780 pages, of which about 770 contain a photo. Superb images!
Each image is explained in detail and very clearly. I already feel I know more about 1900-s (I've just finished the first chapter). It's fascinating, for example, how ladies put up with corsets to make their waist ultra-thin and wore special underwear to avoid ripping their ultra-tight dresses in which they couldn't walk properly. Oh and those outfits for sports, long skirt and large straw hat for tennis, my goodness!
Enjoy the snippets!
