I'm starting to like "leather". I used to think that clothing that imitates leather looks tacky and cheap. But now it's somehow very cool. So yeah, I got myself a "leather" skirt and I'm looking for a pair of pants. A black leather piece gives the outfit rebellious, urban or rock feel. So just throw on at least one!

(Fun fact: the first aka 'casual' Polyvore creation is my oldest, and the second aka 'glam' is the latest :D)
I'm dreaming of a white bedroom. White is not my colour, I don't like all-white interior (all-white anything, not even brides). But a bedroom-yes. It's like a blend of futuristic and vintage. And, it makes you feel like you're in the clouds or heaven or any other perfectly safe and calm place you like.

What else to put in my bedroom? Nice details like open closet, mirrors, flowers, chairs, glass showcase, doll clothes hanger...
The main detail is a vintage make-up table/suite. Girlish dreams. But look at them, sooo beautiful! They indeed add a prima donna touch.
Haven't seen a video for 'Julian' by Say Lou Lou? Well you're 7 months late! Watch it RIGHT AWAY!
I think it's a masterpiece. I must say I didn't get the story right away, though I liked the visuals. Then I read that the song is inspired by 'We Children Of Bahnhof Zoo': "For Julian, we centered our references around a German cult film called Christiane Fset in the late 70s. It's based on the true story of a 14-year-old girl in Berlin who falls heavily into heroin addiction when she starts hanging out with the wrong people at a nightclub. She dyes her hair red and wears short metallic bomber jackets, slim jeans with colored socks and platforms." Also, "the video echoes some of their favourite movies including The Runaways and Boogie Nights, as well as Davide Sorrenti’s cult photography."(anothermag.com)
That book is one of my favourites since I read it for the first time maybe 10 years ago. At the time I found it so scary. I was horrified and disgusted. Since then I read it four times and now I think it's interesting and inspiring (it does not inspires to take drugs off course). I haven't seen the movie yet. But I will when I find time.
If you didn't know, Vera Christiane Felscherinow released a new autobigraphical book titled 'My Second Life' last year. Sounds like a horror sequel: "I hope that 'My Second Life' scares people away from taking drugs more than my first book. I'm quite sure it will. It describes how much pain I've had in my life, and [explains] that I will die a very early and painful death."(wikipedia)
Here's how she looks today (she's green-eyed wow):
I don't have idols coz I'm not copying anyone, but I do have icons who inspire me and make this world a better and more beautiful place. My fashion icons are basicaly all British and it's like a little crew, all of them linked together. The ultimate fashion icon is Alexa Chung. I like her clothes and how she wears it. Looks effortless, without jewlerry, often in flats, but still perfectly matching, with some key details, and always classy.

Alexa is such a beauty. Look at her green eyes, perfect lips and messy hear. I actually keep my hair on her lenght. Below you can see some photos with messy short, wavy midi (and purple <3) and sexy long hair (though she rarely wears long hair-so do I). Although, I must say I don't like how skinny she is. Her arms and legs are just too thin.
If you didn't know, her real name is Alexa Kachan. She's a model and television presenter. She is also involved in all kinds of fashion things, like editing at British Vogue and releasing a book 'It'.
She dated Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys for 4 years (Alex&Alexa lol). Her good friend is Pixie Geldof (in the picture that is in the middle row), also my fashion icon, and their mate is Nick Grimshaw (a stylish man in the last row). Oh and that's just one part of the crew ;-)
P.S. I added a questionnarrie below each post! You can express your opinion just by clicking on one of the options! And I rewrote the guide for commenting in the left sidebar coz Blogger changed something a little bit. It's still super-easy to leave comments, so feel free to wright!
It's remarkable how you can recognize your country even if there's no famous sights and symbols. I new that this is Adriatic cost the second I saw it.
Massimo Vitali is an Italian photographer who shoots landscapes. His work carries a unique signature. You'll see a lot of people, who somehow look like tiny pawns rather than living creatures. But still, they make those landscapes come alive; without being personal, just simply vivid.
Beside Croatia, you can see photos from Brazil, Turkey, Sicily, Miscellany, Cornwall and Dorset here: Massimo Vitali.
I'm a sucker for neon lights. I think it's the best form of modern art. Don't really now why. A neon sign stands out, ponting out something important, luring your pupils. You can also play with letters turned on and off.
Some of the artists:
Bruce Nauman: -he was the first neon light artist I fell for-
I love all kind of neon, as long as it has a message. It doesn't have to be one's artwork. I mean, everything's modern art now, isn't it?
Finally, my favourites. In the first picture are rules of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. So clever. In the second is a neon crucifix created from words by Edgar Allan Poe. It is for sale here: http://oakleyilluminations.co.uk/forsale/crossneon/
First of all, yes. I admit it's silly and intended for teenage girls. But I like to watch Dan Howell's videos. If you don't know who is Dan, that's absolutely normal. He's a youtuber-one of those people who record themselves for living. Why am I a subscriber? I think he's sooo funny, so when I'm bored, you know...
This post is about The Internet. Not the internet (I loooove it), but people on the internet. (And it's not about Dan of course, but his videos explain this topic very well.) So, things I hate about The Internet: spying, outwitting/debates and obsession/fandoms.
The first video is about debates. Listen to every word people. I agree with absolutely everything Dan said. I avoid getting in arguments, but when I know someone is wrong I just have to write something. Simply to make people think, maybe they'll change their point of view. And I never critisize someone's opinion. The tastes are not to be discussed. And remember, there are so many stupid people who are not worth your attention. (Luckily/unluckily not many people leave comments on this blog so-no problems here!)
The next video is about fandoms. I think those people don't have life really. How can you live just for actors of a TV series, or a book, or whatever?! I do reblog pictures of band members or actors on Tumblr, but that's coz I like that picture. But spending every day thinking about the same thing/person, rebloging every post related to it, dreaming about having his babies and threatening his privacy coz you follow his every step?! The internet made fans into bothersome, crazy people living in a fantasy. You go, real-life fans!
About spying, you can't do anything about it. Except not do that to other people.
What about you? Enjoying surfing? Ever feeling irritated? Do you like blogs? Internet interactions? Leave a comment if you like the latter.
